The summer ends...
This is my last full week of summer vacation. I go back to work next Wednesday. The kids still have two full weeks left though - they don't come back until the Tuesday after Labor Day...
Sigh...
So this weekend we went to the beach, but I gained less than a pound :) So that's good! It's not really the food that gets me at the beach - it's the alcohol. We invented this totally addictive shot - we call it banana crack. It's equal parts banana flavored rum and creme de cacao. It smells like Banana Boat sunscreen, but tastes like heaven! But it's all empty sugar calories...
So, Monday, as usual, is my fresh start.
Breakfast: Plain fat free yogurt, Kashi GoLean cereal, mixed fruit (grapes, strawberries, kiwi, melon, pineapple), coffee, fat free half and half (the natural kind).
Lunch: Leftovers! Quinoa, spinach sauteed in garlic and EVOO, feta cheese, pan seared chicken breast.
Dinner: As usual, gotta find a recipe!
Exercise: Today is a Cardio/Sculpt day for me. Not sure what was on the calendar. I lost a work out day last week. So this week, I'm going to see if I can double up... But we'll see...
