That you can gain 3 lbs in a week on vacation, but it seems to take two or three weeks to lose the weight?
Ugh.
I think I'm doing pretty well though... I have lost two pounds so far, so I can't complain too much... But I was also up about 2 lbs. before I even left, so as of right now I have about three pounds to go before I'm back to my preferred weight...
Plus, the weekend is upon me. Not sure where we're going to go. I don't think we'll be going to the beach this weekend. There's a huge boat race this sunday and the water is going to be ridiculously crowded with idiots. Not the racers - the observers. Plus, a couple of years ago there was a pretty serious fatal accident during the race and that's not something I want to observe. Plus, if there was an accident, now you've got the water clogged with Coast guard and PD.
Okay - I know, I'm off the topic here...
So I skipped a day working out this week. I am going to try and make it up by working out saturday morning before we go out on the boat. This way I don't feel too guilty about it. That will be the second w/o I've skipped this month...
As far as food - I've been consistently tracking every thing I eat and I switched my points from maintaining back to losing. I think that's why I've had the two pound success :)
I am out of fresh fruit as of tomorrow - which is fine b/c we'll probably spend the weekend out on the boat. But this morning I enjoyed a cup of Kashi with a cup of strawberries! YUM :)
Not sure what's for lunch or dinner yet...
For my workout, I'm going to do Cardio Overdrive. I like this one a lot - it's got great choreography. And it burns a fair amount of calories as well.
I'm just trying to get back to goal before the school year starts so that my pants and skirts fit right! LOL
So that's all I have for today! I am going to try and check in more consistently - I know I've been slackin off since I got home from vacation. But, now that I'm doing better, I'm feeling better. Maybe I'll try to get to a WW meeting later today. There's one @ 3:30 - not my favorite leader, but a close second for sure!
