Crazy!

I lost 2.2 lbs since yesterday! That's crazy!

But I think I know what happened... Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday I ate some very salty foods.  Sunday - Monday I gained 1.6 and Monday - Tuesday I gained .4 then Tuesday - Wednesday I stayed the same.

Then yesterday I ate really well and - BAM! - weight flies off.

So it was probably just a lot of water retention... :P

But, whatever the reason, I'm happy!

Got in a sculpting workout this morning - so not a huge calorie burn, but am still working on finishing all my sets with the slightly heavier weights...  It may be time to buy a set of 12 lb-ers.  I find that for some exercised (especially lower body and back) that the 10 lb weights are getting too easy.

And, I am getting stronger with my shoulders.  I am finding 8's too easy for overhead presses, and I can actually do posterior delts with 5 lb-ers pretty easily as well - though I can't remotely imagine moving up to 8's for those.  Do they make 6 lb weights?  Hmmmm, maybe I can play with my FIRM cardio weights to make them 6 lbs... 

As far as eating - I am working hard on finishing the massive amount of salad that my mother in law left at my house when she was over for dinner on Sunday.  Today I am eating the last portion for lunch.  I had an extra red bell pepper so I threw that in there as well.  And I have the spray on dressing to give it some flavor. 

For snack to day I had some Cabot 75% Reduced Fat Cheddar - one of the best out there.  It has great flavor and, even more important to me, the right texture of a good cheddar cheese.

Not sure about dinner tonight... Last night I made Chipotle Chicken Cheesesteaks from this months Cooking Light.  The only problem is I had to buy a can of chipotle chilies in adobo sauce but I only needed one for the recipe.  Now I have a nearly full can of chilies and I don't know what to do with them.  I don't want to eat a lot of spicy food all in a row - my intestines can't take it!  I wonder if I can freeze them somehow...

So that's it for now.  Going out for a bit during my lunch break to put gas in my car and air in my tires (stupid leaky tire!).  Not walking today - I am teaching in a different building today and it's not in as nice a neighborhood as my other school.  Funny how two schools within the same district can vary so widely in the population...
