I think I drank a week's worth of calories this weekend.
Seriously. If you go back to my Weight Watchers tracker and delete all the alcohol, I really didn't do that bad as far as food choices. Yes, indulgent, but I didn't go ridiculously over my points values (if you include weekly and activity points) - but add in the alcohol and WOAH! I've used all my points for the week and then some!
I better start earning activity points fast!! LOL
So, in a nut shell all my hard work for the last couple of weeks was reversed by my gratuitous drinking this weekend. I'm not too worried though - liquor weight usually tends to come off pretty quickly. At least for me. I like to think it's my Irish gene pool :o)
But regardless, it's back on track today. Real oatmeal for bfast (well, quick oats - but not flavored in anyway. I can't wait for the real oats in the morning) with an apple and cinnamon. Then for lunch turkey pastrami with one slice of cheese on light bread. Carrots, tomatoes and hummus.
Got up early to work out as well - Super Cardio. It is pretty super! One thing about those FIRM dvd's though -I feel like they transition so fast. I feel like by the time they say "take out your step and pick up your weights" and I do it they've already started the steps! I have to pause constantly - and it's not like I don't keep my stuff out and available at all times! I guess it just takes getting used to.
Burned 344 calories though! That's pretty good :o)
And in other health related news - my contact lenses are seriously bothering me today. I feel like everything is fuzzy and I can't focus on anything. Close up, far away, it doesn't matter. It's really annoying. I took them out and cleaned them again. I checked to make sure they're right side out (that makes a difference sometimes) but they seem to be fine. They are about a month old, which is when I usually change them - but I can usually get away with a couple of extra days - I don't usually have to change them on the first...
And I really want to go to WW tonight, but right now I'm thinking I should drive straight home and take my contacts out! This is easily the most annoying day ever!
Well, I'm going to stop typing, b/c I'm having a hard time focusing on the screen. Till tomorrow when, hopefully, my eyes will be better...
