Steady As She Goes...

That pretty much sums up my progress these days!

I've been sticking to my daily points, working out consistently, and seeing results!  Next up: The 125 barrier!

But I have full confidence that one will break through quickly!

So, many people might feel that Memorial Day weekend is a challenge, but not so much for me. I have no definite plans as of yet. Unless you count slaving away on the boat, continuing to get it ready for the season. But as far as parties and BBQ's and things like that, we have nothing going on.  So for now, I'm not worried about food challenges.

I probably should be more conservative with my flex points for now, just in case something comes up this weekend, but honestly I've been eating about 4 flex points a day this week, which isn't too bad.  I usually prefer to spread them out across the week, rather than save them up anyway.

Workout today: Calorie Killer.  Honestly, this work out sort of bores me.  I don't think the lead instructor has much enthusiasm in her voice.  She sounds bored, so I feel bored. But, I do like the moves (if that makes sense) and it burns a fair amount of calories.  I don't think I'm going to walk during lunch today. I didn't bring the right sneakers and I know these sneakers will hurt if I try to walk at that pace. And also, today is hot. Like, hotter than it's been this season. 85 degrees and humid is not great weather for walking. :P

Food today: Breakfast was egg beaters on a bagel thin with LF cheese and sliced tomato.  I over cooked the egg beaters though and they were not too pleasant.  Lunch is left over sausage, onions, and peppers again.  I get these awesome chicken sausages at the King Kullen by me. They are outstanding on the grill and only 130 calories.  3 points!  I also have some carrots.

Dinner tonight: I'm not sure yet.  Maybe, if I don't take a nap, I'll clean up the grill and make some turkey burgers. Or maybe some chicken thighs.  I love chicken thighs on the grill. Boneless, skinless thighs with just a little salt and pepper.  Perfection. Oh, and maybe some corn on the cob! That would be awesome too!

I'm so motivated right now, but I know I'll get home and crash on the couch! LOL

Oh well.  Once this week is over, I've only got 4 weeks until summer vaca. 21 teaching days to go! and 69 days till Disney World!

Ah, I can't wait.  I gotta order my summer reading list soon too! I have about a dozen or so books I want to read! For now, I'm re-reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer while I'm waiting for my copy of The Necromancer (the fourth book in the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series) to be shipped by amazon.

So that's all for today :)
