Hoping

I don't blow it this weekend because I've had a great week for weight loss.  Overall I'm down about 2.4 pounds since Sunday for my lowest weight since I started trying to lose again this January :)

Just a few more pounds to go...

But those last few are always the hardest! LOL

That's why I'm hoping I don't do anything crazy tonight or tomorrow.  I don't have any big plans per se, but you know how these things work out.

So today I am going to kick boxing (yay) but probably not walking - I don't know when or how, but it got fuckin' hot outside. And I'm wearing jeans - so there's no way I'm walking in this heat and going back into work to finish my day a big sweaty mess.

Food has been right on track as well - I was a little worried last week b/c my DH was out of town for business and usually I have a tendency to eat out a lot b/c cooking for one person is a pain in the ass, but I did cook most nights and totally kept my food in check.  The only thing I did indulge in was a glass of wine each night. When he's out of town, I have a hard time sleeping and I find that a glass of wine does the trick.  Better than taking sleeping pills, IMO.

So that's all for now.

It's funny how now that I'm getting closer to my goal weight, I feel less need to keep up this journal/diary/blog... But I did find it helpful and motivational when I was 10 lbs heavier, so I'm going to try and keep it up.

I know that the last time I let this go, I was about 120 lbs. and when I stopped journaling, attending WW meetings and blogging, I found the weight creeping back on.

And I will keep going to meetings, no matter what happens. I have to make it a part of my life.

Funny - I said that the last time I lost the weight. And the time before that, and the time before that.

Ah well, you live and you learn I suppose.  But I know constantly yo-yo-ing up and down 10-15 pounds is bad.  It can totally put strain on your heart and circulatory system, and I so don't want to have to worry about any of that.

Well, that's it for today.  Right now I feel like I could take a nap under my desk, but I think that's just cause it's warm out. Hopefully I'll have more energy later.  If not, I'll take a quick nap when I get home.

I'll try and check in on the weekend too - hoping that will help me stay on track...
