So, you know how yesterday I was complaining that I'd been doing everything right and seeing zero results on the scale?
Well, last night I was at the diner with some friends trying to decide what to order for dinner, when it occurred to me that maybe what my body needed was something different - a little bit of a bigger meal just to shake it up a bit.
I didn't go overboard. I ordered a turkey, bacon, avocado wrap - no cheese, no mayo, with mashed potatoes instead of french fries on the side. On the plus side - no cheese, no mayo, no french fries. On the down side, bacon and avocado are high in fat (although the avocado is healthy fat, calories are calories anyway you slice them).
Yeah, I stepped on the scale 2.2 pounds lighter than yesterday!
Who would've guessed what my body needed was some extra calories :P
But, now that I've shaken things up it time to get right back on track. So I started the day with some yogurt, blackberries, Kashi, and a banana.
Not sure what the rest of the day is going to look like. I'm going to be pretty active today - we have a lot of cleaning/scrubbing to do on the topside of the boat as well as in the cabins. The boat is a filthy, filthy mess. But, it's almost ready to go out! It's actually currently floating in the water as we speak!
But I'm hoping all of the cleaning and scrubbing the next couple of days will burn lots of calories!!! LOL
So that's it for today! Went to kickboxing yesterday, and, as usual, kickboxing class kick boxed my ass. I'm so sore today! My shoulders are sore from punches, my hip flexors are sore from kicks, ugh! But well worth it! Especially if that's one of the factors that contributed to my 2.2 pound loss today! :o)
