Monday Weigh-In/Weekend Confession: All the Wine! Edition

Happy Monday Weight Watchers world!

Let's start this party!

Last week: 139.3
This week: 137.3
Difference: -2.0

Damn that was a successful week! And I ended the week w/ -14 points!

So, it really was more than the weekend that got me. I kept dipping into weekly and fitpoints all week, but I still had the points so I kept on dipping. But I should've know it was the weekend that would put me negative. Particularly Saturday night. Which brings me to my weekend confession...

Bless me Jean Nidetch for I have gone off program!

I'm actually going to say it was Saturday night that put me over that negative edge. Going into Saturday I still had some fitpoints left to dip into. And I did start Saturday morning with a workout (hello Cardio Flow! Day 50 of 80 Day Obsession!), a 4 point breakfast and a 5 point lunch.

Saturday night was pizza (two slices), garlic knots (4!!!), extra marinara sauce for dipping, AND, I guestimated an entire bottle of wine. We split 3 bottles between four of us, but one was a designated driver so she only had one glass. So, um, yeah... That was like, alllllllllllll the points!

But it's ok! I'm down two for the week, I've stuck to my workouts longer and stronger than I have in a long time and I feel amazing!

The take away from this week is that you have to sometimes focus on the good feelings and keep those positive feelings going, even on the days you don't really want to.

We all get tired of this. We get tired of working out, or tired of tracking, or tired of saying things like "No thanks I'll have the salad." But when you feel great you gotta hold onto it and channel it on the days you're not feeling so great.

There were days this week I didn't want to wake up and push play. There were days this week I wanted the brownie (ok, so one day I did have it - I had the points for it, I tracked it, and I owned it!). But it feels so much better to choose the healthier path 99/100 times, and that's what keeps us going forward.

Like I said Friday - success begets success.  And seeing this successful week makes me feel like I've got this. I can do this. I can do hard things. I can do what I set my mind to.

Goal - I'm coming for ya.
