Two Steps Forward

Two steps back.

Nearly back to my post-vacation weight at the beginning of January.

Ouch.

Ah, what can I do? A full on weekend of indulging - what did I expect?  Friday night: Girls night.  Two glasses of wine, appetizer, entree and chocolate fondue for dessert.  Saturday night: Dinner at home.  Cooked healthy, but, two bottles of wine, bread, butter and sea salt.  Sunday: snacked a lot (nothing bad, just more than I'd normally eat) and then, Chinese for dinner.  The salty kiss of death for a Monday morning weigh in...

Well, you're only as far off track as your next choice so today I choose to limit my calories, drink my water, and plan a healthy dinner.

Oh, and I got up this morning and did the workout I was supposed to do yesterday.  So I made up for at least one bad choice :o)

This morning was Speed Slimming Sculpt (from the Wave series) and the Core Trainer Plus workout.

The green band snapped on me this morning :o(

Good thing I had two.  One from Dangerous Curves Ahead (which, I think is the one I snapped) and one from the Core Trainer Kit.

I wonder if you can get those things at Target...  I'll have to check it out...

Food today - like I said - is minimal.

I had cereal with a banana for breakfast and the usual morning cup of coffee.

For lunch I packed leftover, defrosted vegetable risotto - no snacks.

Normally I'd pack fresh veggies, but I didn't feel like leaving the house to do any food shopping yesterday because it was so cold.

Of course, today is colder and I kinda HAVE to go food shopping now, which only makes me wish I'd gotten it out of the way yesterday :oP

So far, I am a little hungry and I'm wishing I had some baby carrots, but really, it's not too bad...  I might tap into my bottled water in a bit.  And right now, since I'm not with students this period, I'll chew some gum.  That should hold me off about an hour until lunch time.

Maybe it's crazy, but I just really feel the need to be a little extreme for the next couple of days.

Chinese food last night didn't help my cause either...  And then, this morning, when I was working out, I was burping it back up.  Gross!

I may need to take a chinese food break.  Or start ordering everything steamed or something... Ugh...

This week's goal: 3 pounds.  A tall order, but do-able if I put my mind to it...  Wish me luck!
