UGH!
I gained two pounds yesterday. TWO!
Okay, so I know it's not really two pounds... I know it's probably water retention or something. But still - seeing that on the scale was utterly depressing this morning.
Which is probably why they tell you to only weigh yourself once every week. But I am, admittedly, a bit obsessed when it comes to weighing.
I know that when I don't weigh everyday I lose track of what I eat and gain.
I know I had a rough weekend though. Saturday night we did go out for dinner but I had a raw veggie wrap with goat cheese and avocado. Not too bad a choice. Then we walked quite a few blocks over to Rocco's on Bleeker and I had a cannoli. Not the best choice. But I rationalized that by eating a lighter dinner and walking several blocks.
Saturday didn't kill me though. I only went up .6 - not bad.
Then yesterday I had the family over for the once a year kelbasa (sp?) meal. I'm sure that's where the extra 1.6 came from. Stupid salty meat product. I didn't have much, but still...
So today I got up at 5 AM - worked out to Rock Solid Cardio. Only burned 1.5 points. So I added an express abs to get in an extra .5 for an even two.
Then today at work I'm going walking with the girls. So that will hopefully burn another point- maybe point and a half.
For food - I had yogurt, fiber one and a banana for breakfast. Lunch - a salad with 2 oz. turkey breast.
Snack - Carrots and celery. Water, water, water. 7 day cleanse. Haven't decided on dinner yet - but I have a recipe for stir fry that sounds good.
I'm hoping it's just a temporary water gain and I will go back down before Weight Watchers tomorrow. I am so close to not paying anymore I can almost taste it! But it won't be this week. Maybe next... We shall see.
So that was my tough weekend. I'll check in tomorrow and let you know how it goes :)
