Time is Flying By...

Oh wow - I just looked here and realized that I haven't updated this since the beginning of the month!  Yikes! Time sure does fly!

So, it's been a rocky month.  Beginning and middle of the month my weight and habits were good and bad.   I'd gain over the weekend, lose a little during the week, then gain again over the weekend.  My weight was starting to creep back up a bit - only a few pounds, but still, not good.

So last week I didn't track but I made a very conscious effort to eat more healthfully, say no to sugar, and keep snacks between meals to a minimum.

Also, I bought some pumpkin pecan waffle mix and I told myself that I wouldn't have any until I lost 4 pounds! LOL!  So I did it!

Of course, I've gained about 1.8 back since then...  Just in the last couple of days.  I was super successful, and then I gave in to my old nemesis - you guessed it - Starbucks.  Grande Pumpkin Spice Latte and dark chocolate covered graham crackers.  Boom! - 1.4 pounds.  Then last night, Chinese food.  Boom! - Another .4 pounds.

Today I want to make a nice dinner as well.  A nice dinner means a nice bottle of wine :o)

And likely bread with butter and sea salt - Oh My Yum!

Sadly, that probably means another gain on the scale.  But it's so tasty it may just be worth it!

So that's about it for now.  I pushed my workouts back by one day this week.  I know that working out is important for your health but so is a good night's rest.   Yesterday and Monday I came home from work and crashed and took a 2 hour nap.  So I made the decision to get more rest today.

I guess I do feel a little better... I guess I'll see how I feel when I get home from work later :o)
