Ok, so I know it's Tuesday and I'm a day late, but things have been hectic around here.
Let's start with the basics:
Last week: 127.8
This week: 126.6
Maintenance: Well, I'm trying to lose again actually so ... Success!
As you can probably guess by my lack of blogging, I haven't really been keeping up with anything Weight Watcher related. I haven't been tracking really at all since November.
I haven't been following the program. I haven't been working out consistently. I skipped many, many meetings, and I've gained a few pounds back to show for it.
I haven't really gotten back above that 130 mark, so that's good. I've gone up to about 129ish, tracked for a few days, got back down to 126ish, then stopped tracking and went back to 129ish... It's been up and down a lot these last few months. But nowhere near the 122-123 I prefer.
Last week I did track five out of seven days, and that's an improvement for me! And the result showed on the scale. I didn't track Saturday or Sunday. Saturday we had a birthday party for my daughter and Sunday we spent the day moving our bedroom to the playroom and the playroom to the bedroom (long story but now that my daughter is five we want to encourage her to sleep in her own room more so we are moving our bedroom next to hers). Anyway, after a day of moving furniture and more toys than I can count, I was too exhausted to cook or get takeout so my husband and I shared a loaf of buttered baguette and a bottle of wine for dinner.
And even though the weekend was a little off the rails, I think tracking Monday through Friday helped a lot.
So, I was going to do the same thing this week but yesterday I forgot to pack my lunch and since I went out for lunch I threw the plan out the window. BUT, I did get a workout in.
I was doing P90X3 (I had awesome success with P90 and thought it'd be a great way to continue) but I think I got bored with the workouts and with the trainer in the videos, and that may have been why I started skipping. So I switched to 21 Day Fix. Yesterday was the first workout. I'd done it before as a free sample a while back. It's a good workout, and I'm looking forward to today's workout on the calendar. It's upper body.
Things have been hectic and I've been using it as an excuse to put myself second.
I just gotta keep moving forward. I can only do my best everyday.
