And I did okay!
No alcohol - stayed away from everything fried at the buffet and for dessert I skipped the cake and dipped a few pieces of fruit in the chocolate fountain :o) I did also dip a pretzel and a marshmallow in there too.
Yum!
Considering the fact that I did indulge - I know it could've been a LOT worse!
For the dinner part I had some turkey breast from the carving station, a small bit of penne a la vodka, fresh veggies, two mozzarella bites, and one piece of crustini.
And of course there was dancing so I got some calorie burn in as well!
I did use a LOT of weekly points allowance but I still have 2 left, plus I haven't dipped into my activity at all.
Sadly though, I did have to skip kick boxing on Friday. I started to work out the time in my head Friday afternoon and I just wouldn't have had the time to get home, shower, do my hair/make up, get dressed and get to the party by 7.
It was a good friend's daughter's sweet 16, and it was - not really a surprise, but she did make a grand entrance so we didn't want to be late and mess that up!!!
So to make up for missing kick boxing maybe I'll work out today. Or go for a walk - the weather is BEAUTIFUL today!
I love spring time!!!
On the other hand, I feel like taking a nap. My cat woke me up early by puking on the bedroom floor. So of course I can't go back to sleep knowing there's puke on the floor so I get up to clean it. Now I'm awake and I can't get back to sleep.
So I stayed up and decided to watch New Moon :o) Nothin' like a littel RPatz and Lautner eye candy to start your day! But now I'm getting sleepy again...
I don't know. I should test drive some cars today. I have to make a decision about what to do with my car by the 25th and I have no idea what I want to do. On the one hand, I really love my convertible. On the other hand, it's not a very practical car. I should get a truck or something with more room. But yesterday, driving with the top down (first day this spring) with the sun on my face and the wind in my hair - I just can't imagine giving that up. Sigh...
Well, that's that for today. I had a non scale victory with this party (yes, I did weigh in .2 heavier than yesterday) but I still feel really good about what I'm doing.
I'm still below the 135 barrier and I know I'm on my way to success!!
